I am a weirdo.
Well I believe 5 days have passed since I started sprouting my lentils. I found a recipe and I will try it out tomorrow.
Day 1

Day 5

Lentils are nice and leafy, hopefully it will taste good. I want to try alfalf (I think that’s what it’s called) but haven’t been able to find any seeds.
This is the recipe I’m using dish#2 spicy sprouted lentils

I bought some tofu the other day for the first time, any good recipes anyone recommends?
Must note that I’ve never had or cooked tofu before.
Any ideas? Recipes?
I have plenty of healthy food but now I have to stick to working out. Everyday is a new day for me to get it right, and someday I will stick to the routine and love it.
Made some Lebanese style lentils and they are good…mmm mushy goodness!
I followed the recipe but made some alterations. I didn’t have red lentils so I used the brown ones I already had and instead of 3/4 cups of lemon juice I just added some and tasted it. I also added chopped spinach, coriander, more cumin and cayenne pepper!
If you like lemon flavored stuff you’d like this!
Dinner! Taco Salad not the healthiest but working with what we already have at home and my husband needs meat.
Made homemade tortilla chips and I think I’m going to keep making them instead of buying. I got couple tortillas cut them into 4’s and put them in a flat baking pan and just spread a little bit of olive oil over them and salt, then popped them in the oven at 400 degrees and BAM baked chips and to make it healthy next time I’ll use whole wheat tortilla and maybe no salt. Either way this was our meal low fat sour cream and mozzarella instead of cheddar and so on so, and salsa I made earlier this week so we are finding alternatives! Also this could have less calories by adding lean meat, low fat sour cream, fat free cheese and always serving more lettuce then meat! :)
Oh and tomatoes we didn’t add any because we were out of them but we always add tomatoes too!
